 Dear Friends,We thank God for His constant care and protection upon our lives. It has been 2 years now since we moved from Fiji. Adjusting to the Californian lifestyle had been quite challenging and it seems that we are still adjusting.
By God’s grace I have finished my first year of graduate studies at the Masters Seminary. Apart from the rigorous academic training, the seminary puts careful attention into the cultivation of Christian character qualities and living skills. I believe this is preparing me for godly living, for leadership in ministry, and for effective involvement in serving others. We are planning to return to Fiji after completing this training. We worship at a small Bible church in Buena Park where the Lord has opened several ministry opportunities like preaching and teaching, helping in youth outreach, and doing call to worship. We also do a weekly Bible study at home and all of my families participate in it. I am encouraged to see the desire and hunger there is for God’s word. On occasions we have had non-believers sit and listen to God’s word and this had opened opportunities to give the gospel. Please pray for us as we travel to Fiji this summer to visit family, friends, and help teach and preach at the Fiji Bible College and the Bible churches there. Also pray for my ongoing studies at TMS. The Fall Semester begins on August 24th, 2009. Thank you all very much for your prayers and support. God Bless you all,  |
